​Crystal Creek ™  is a local independent business offering handcrafted bath essentials from our studio in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains region of Arkansas. Near the center of the Ouachita National Forest is the quiet small town of Mount Ida, (pop. 1076). Known as the "Quartz Crystal Capital of the World" people travel from around the globe to Montgomery County, Arkansas to dig for crystals of all sizes, shapes and colors. Rock hounds of all ages participate in the annual World Championship Quartz Crystal Dig each October.  A wonderful exhibit at the local Heritage Museum depicts the geological structure behind the area’s varied and unique crystal formations.
 
We're in the country where life is slow and pleasures are plentiful. Eighty-five percent of Montgomery County is national forest with fewer than ten people for each of its eight hundred square miles. There is not a single stoplight in the entire county. In this tranquil natural setting is Lake Ouachita, known for its scenic beauty and clear water.
