In its unfolding story the bible relates and describes peoples, countries, regions, and areas around the world on mankind’s historic yet prophetic path, pertaining to the roles and purposes of Jesus as the Christ/Messiah. Is there a reason America is not mentioned in the bible? Or is it? [Rev 13:4, 18:3-8] He who at Mid Tribulation will become the Antichrist will in the years preceding his rise to power be a proxy statesman of much accomplishment. His fortuitous fame shall blaze the way before him as he takes his place on the world stage, given opportunity and support by one who uses wiles and ways never before seen nor heard in public discourse. As America’s economy stutters, stumbles, and falls one area of strength and export remains the pinnacle of resilience. The military industrial complex. Dwight D. Eisenhower warned of this day in his presidential farewell address to congress and the nation. The military might of the U.S. has long been a primary deterrent or ‘backbone’ against totalitarian aggression around the globe. Back room political deals and the threat of U.S. armed power in support of Israel since 1948 has helped enable the Jewish State to establish and pursue continued growth. When the Ezekiel War draws nigh, Israel will stand alone. Israel’s most ardent supporter the US will ironically be absent. Why? America will be reticent to respond, aide or assist as it will be consumed with its own nationalist interests and internal troubles. Under a second Trump administration the U.S. will become a political police state. America will be shunned by the international community. Distrusted globally, viewed as arrogant and ignorant by our decisions and behavior, and no longer a leader among nations, America’s military strength will be the sole bargaining chip and negotiating tactic left in its arsenal to be employed. And used it will be. Under a Biden administration the ineptness of congress and resistance of the political right will paralyze to a level of inaction and inactivity that only produces stalemates. The collapse of the economy and the systemic failures of agencies across the governmental landscape will cripple America’s resurgence on the world scene. A once great effort at republic democracy will have experienced greatness briefly and fleetingly, only to cave in upon itself, consumed from the inside by avarice and corruption. With its demise the only recourse will be to use its military industrial complex as its sole power piece, arming dictators and authoritarian regime purchasers across the globe. God has a plan for this ‘leading nation of merchants to the world’ as described in chapter 18 of the book of Revelation. America will experience destructive and debilitating events isolating and essentially removing it from the rest of the world. As a country we will become an afterthought of what we once were. America will be hated and dismissed as no longer relevant. The hypocritical mantras of evangelical christians and their "purpose driven" carnal brethren will be greatly tested in the run up to the apostasy Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:10 as they are led astray by the coming Antichrist and his political herald. Join me next time for Part 7 when we examine the moment of choice which is upon us.
