So, what can we expect our future to look like? Think of it this way. Imagine you’re bringing a pot of cold water to a boil, (the cold water representing our world prior to the 2008 ‘great recession’). We fill the pot and turn up the heat. As the water becomes tepid, we notice a change taking place that is disconcerting, yet not alarming. As we reduce the fire the water returns to its ‘new normal.’
Sometime later, we increase the heat to a higher setting. As small bubbles start to form on the bottom of the pot (Covid-19) we notice they begin spreading around the bottom edge and then progressively start inward across the entire bottom surface. Almost imperceptively, larger bubbles form in the original space from the expanding concentrated heat. Quickly thereafter water is bubbling thoroughly in a simultaneous chaotic dance. As we end the first round of global infections from Covid-19 and prepare for its next pre-vaccine resurgence, we notice there’s little letup of the now enlarging bubbles being created, which start to turn the water from a liquid to its gaseous state. End Times events have a specific purpose designed to bring people (back) to Jesus for His role as (savior) Christ/Messiah. End Times events are God’s way to initiate and at the same time, invite a worldwide revival (Mt 24:14). As with our boiling pot of water, our awareness is meant to be raised with each succeeding ‘heated’ event. The consequences of unprepared disbelief will affect people across the earth. Melding and rippling from one place to the next and from one affected/infected area to another. Whether health related, economic or social disruption, crime and violence, or destructive storms, governments will falter and fail with inadequate and unprepared responses. Uninterrupted escalation of troubles and turmoil denote prophesied End Times. There may be a temporarily ‘lull’ where you live, but the consequences of insurmountable problems will persist globally with little interruption. Events moving in concert, spreading neighbor to neighbor, nation to nation will become more acute as capabilities shift in unending attempts to accommodate the immediacy of that moment’s emergency causing frustration and social chaos. As with our boiling water, End Times events bring unpleasantness, layer upon layer, hampering further answers and responses. The only questions are; • How badly burned are we before we get out of the water? • How much suffering will we endure and at what cost? • What could we have done before the heat went from cold to tepid to boiling? • As it gets worse, how can we prepare? God gives each of us opportunities to come to know Him and know His character and nature through His Son Jesus. He is warning us out of love, compassion, and mercy so we’ll know how to sidestep the death and destruction coming in the Last Days. As event instances for this new awareness increase, so too will the fallout severity of each End Times event. How much suffering will you choose to endure before looking for relief? How many End Times event consequences will you ignore before you start to understand? How much death and destruction will you allow your family to endure before you share with them the way God has provided for His believing children? Avoid the coming perils. How? Establish a spiritual grounded relationship with Christ Jesus. Join me next time for Part 9, ‘Spiritually Grounded Strength’ when we look at: What it is? Where does it come from? How to acquire it, and how to keep it active?
