Prophesies alert readers to unmissable events that will occur in the End Times. One of the most disconcerting or inexplicable characteristics surrounding “End Times, or Last Days” prophesies making them confusing or difficult for many readers is they’re recorded as specific occurrences, authored by different individuals over centuries. Establishing cohesive chronological or purposefully designed correlations can be open to misinterpretation, miscues or miscalculations. Observing the impending immediate and near-term fallout from the first round of our current Covid-19 pandemic illnesses and deaths, the world must anticipate changes going forward for people and governments. Recovery after the first stages of a Coronavirus may be the most critical and perilous of times for many global populations. End Times events will be world altering, affecting people in ways, intensities and frequencies never imagined or experienced. Even if we are viewers from afar of others’ misery, Jesus and the prophets remind us that the End Times will wreak havoc worldwide with consequences radiating across the globe. Unfathomable worldwide repercussions are the hallmark of unmistakable End Times events. How long the ebb and flow of global sorrow will continue before solutions can calm fears from one tragedy to the next is unknown. Strength comes in understanding why these things are happening and how God has planned for believers to sidestep much of the anguish associated with these unusual circumstances. Although the trauma and drama in our futures may be unprecedented, the choices for many will become much clearer. People the world over will experience religious revivals within their countries accompanied by backlash and agitations at home and abroad. Spirituality is the conduit for establishing and building a personal relationship between each of us and the Holy Trinity of God, should we decide to turn to Him. Surrender, acceptance and alignment with Jesus brings calm to the storm when his indwelt spirit is called upon. (John 14:26) It’s our spiritual strengthened belief and faith in the words of Jesus, that set us free to respond in His name against all odds. I’m often asked, “How do I prepare for the End Times?” My answer is first, be aware of the events and consequences that will be manifested as prophesied, and how they may affect you and your family. Second, know and understand three scriptural references: John 3:16, Matthew 22:37 and 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 or Romans 10:9-10, & 17. These verses together with surrender of one’s spirit to Jesus are foundational cornerstones to employ when encountering stress and struggle represented by the End Times. These four provide peace and strength to persevere, and faith to sidestep fear. Join me next time for Part 8, when we examine a boiling pot of water and how much heat it takes to move people to respond. Questions always welcomed and answered.
