End Times Series Part 9

Picture
Welcome Back!
If you’re joining us again. Let’s start with a recap of where we’ve briefly been and, go a little deeper.
If you’re here, you’ve been patient and steadfast. So, let’s look back in order to look ahead.

This chart is presented to encourage awareness and vigilance. Not to be melodramatic, but the event ‘causes and consequences’ we’ve been looking at have enormous implications for everyone alive during these ‘last days.’ Those blessed may see or experience miraculous and frightening things and still survive through the grace and protection of God’s Holy Spirit.

Blessings are a spiritual connection whereby we can come to know the power and presence of God; Father, Son and Spirit, abiding in our temporal being. Every blessing is a lesson veiled by ‘test, trial, challenge or revelation’ for the one experiencing it. As we come to the end of our journey, our focus turns to the interconnected relationship between these three:
  • •God’s compassionate love, mercy and grace.
  • •Spiritual repentance and forgiveness.
  • •The Rapture.

As spiritual Christians we look for fulfillment of the Bible’s inevitable ‘end times’ prophetic ‘signposts.’ With new awareness we now turn our attention to the penultimate event for followers of Jesus Christ; fulfillment of the Rapture. If you traversed the first eight parts in this series, you’re familiar with aspects of the coming Rapture event. But Why is the Rapture important to believers in Jesus?  We can be part of this singular historical event!

These four - love, compassion, mercy, and grace are the character of God’s nature and help explain His motivation behind the Rapture. That is, to regather the spirited souls of His believing children and followers of His Son Jesus, as savior and redeemer. In these four we have God’s reason and rhyme. What’s missing is the glue that binds together His desire and our actions. The binding mortar which completes this linkage is ‘spiritual repentance for forgiveness.’

This “repentance/forgiveness” process takes place in, by and through God’s spirit now abiding within the believer’s soul. This combination of spiritual energy; His and ours, allows an imparting to us of His nature as it prepares us for spiritual reconciliation through Jesus. Embracing this reconciliatory process allows us to now transfer its power to our interpersonal relationships. Employing and perpetuating the intimate steps of repentance and forgiveness simultaneously draws us spiritually closer to Jesus.

As we ‘replace’ (change) our old pattern responses with a more mature and appropriate responses we ‘spiritually repent’ the ‘old’ us and welcome a new creation of us. Our changed/new behavior is ‘repentance’ in action. When we change our response demeanor we are repenting of the old and replacing it with a spiritually ‘reborn’ response/behavior/action. When we repent (change for better) to repair damaged relationships important to us, forgiveness completes the process.

Understanding the nature and spirit of God now abides within, we can now change all future behavior and responses to reflect the spiritual nature now dwelling within our soul. This is the ‘How and Why’ of the Rapture; its purpose is spiritual forgiveness to insure participation in its occurrence.

The Rapture is the second most important event of the end times, but for those alive when it happens, it will become life’s most important immediate possibility. To become part of this once in a lifetime event know and believe this: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, and Romans 10:9-10, 17.

In the Hawaiian language,  "Mana'o" (ma na o) is the word used to describe 'thoughts, ideas, and opinions'.
Since the beginning of my professional writing career, Mana'o has been the impetus for expression, so it only seems appropriate to combine Mana'o and a blog spot on our web site.  Please feel free to read and join the discussions and comments posted here.
