Barack Obama; Placeholder

As an independent voter, one who votes for the candidate whose rhetoric strikes a chord and resonates a modicum of temporary truth (until said elected neophyte officially reaches Washington, only to be co-opted and corrupted by the lobbyists from K Street) the current round of postings about Mr. Obama by conservative bloggers is becoming down-right dull.

Mr. Obama will not be running for office again in 2016. His policy efforts have been thwarted at every twist and turn since Jan 20, 2009 and will certainly continue to be so by his political opponents until Jan 19th of 2017. He is in a no-win position and apparently by many of his latest public speaking addresses has come to this realization. Nothing will change in the next three years while he finishes out his term in office as congressional legislators calmly go about the business of being at loggerheads with the Obama administration. And yet, the blogosphere is peppered daily by posts and opinions that Mr. Obama should be thrown out of office immediately for any one of a variety of maleficent offenses from a laundry list of perpetrated hyperbole.

Mr. Obama's post electoral service is sure to be years of enhanced recognition among his supporters, with one or more endeavors eclipsing galatically  the ineptitude and self-aggrandizement of his two dubious predecessors. In the infamous words of Richard M. Nixon after his defeat at the hands of John Kennedy, Mr. Obama can triumphantly parrot, “You won’t have Barack Hussein Obama to kick around anymore” (although he won’t state this kind of political martyrdom) for he has more maturity and style than ever Nixon exhibited.

At this point in current American history Mr. Obama is ensconced as the epitome of a ‘lame duck’ President; a mere placeholder of his office. He can count on little help from his friends and mountains of malicious adversity from his detractors, as their number one goal and priority has been and still remains ensuring this (half) black man is never allowed to accomplish one progressive thrust forward for the people of this country.

With this in mind it would seem that those on the right who are so adamantly anti-Obama would start spending more time rooting out qualified candidates who might run for office in 2016. By continuing the Obama onslaught his haters run the risk of wasting inordinate amounts of time and energy on a political non-entity, in lieu of discovering the next conservative values savior.

It would appear subliminally possible that Mrs. Clinton will be compelled to take her chance at becoming the first female President by ‘throwing her hat in the ring’. Should the legions of ‘economic austerity’ and ‘anti-every social program’ crowd spend the next three years focused on the man who will fade into his post elected glory, rather than finding their champion who can carry-the-day with only old white conservative voters, they may find the double edge of the sword they fear the most to be even more unbelievably caustic than a black man as President. A woman as President!

Let’s go Obama detractors, haters and anti-ites. Leave President Blackenstein to dwell reflectively alone in the oval office and proceed to find the redeemer-of-the-right who can take this country further down the path of least resistance to corporate corruption and uber-wealthy avarice. Then the twenty-first century politics of America can morph into the regressive era of 1933 Germany that those on the right so wish it to be.

In the Hawaiian language,  "Mana'o" (ma na o) is the word used to describe 'thoughts, ideas, and opinions'.
Since the beginning of my professional writing career, Mana'o has been the impetus for expression, so it only seems appropriate to combine Mana'o and a blog spot on our web site.  Please feel free to read and join the discussions and comments posted here.
