At the core of each of the world’s religions is a founding figure who has expository teaching for his followers.  As the comparative differences between each system emerge, the nuances of significant distinctions begin to come out of the shadows and into the light of knowledge and recognition for each master and his beliefs.  For example, it is Mohammed and the Koran, Buddha and the Noble Path, Krishna and philosophy, Zoroaster and ethics.

It is here that the fundamental similarities of each, and subsequently the difference between others and Jesus becomes increasingly evident.  In the teachings of all five masters, an instructive way of living is revealed.  Yet it is not Mohammed who changes the listener, it is the Koran’s instructive presentation.  It is not Buddha who is the deliverer, it is the Noble Truths which instruct.  It is not Krishna or Zoroaster to whom people turn, it is to their instruction.  The pinnacle of separation is this; not only did Jesus of Nazareth instruct and expound his teaching message, He lived His message and He was His message.  Not only did He proclaim the truth, He stated, “I am the Truth.”  Not only did He show the way, He declared, “I am the way.”  Not only did He offer up life, He revealed, “I am the resurrection and the life.”  Of these five masters, only one claimed the authority of reconciliation, redemption and salvation from sin.  Only Jesus assured the world, “I am the Alpha and the Omega.”  The follower of Jesus has the opportunity of relating to and being with the Holy Trinity and the fullness of the Godhead in human bodily form through Jesus the Christ.
